9. Measuring fish will be done on a flat board, mouth shut, and fanning the tail. It is each team’s responsibility to bring only legal fish to the scales. All questionable fish will be measured again. No one will be allowed to weigh additional fish after they bring fish to the scale. All bass must be at least 12 inches unless noted otherwise on the schedule.
10. There is an eight (8) ounce penalty per each dead fish. No dead fish can be weighed as big fish.
11. All participants must be at the ramp by the designated weigh-in time. Anyone who is late will NOT be allowed to weigh in their fish. Anyone leaving the lake early, or staying later, should let someone in the club know.
12. An alternate may be used if your partner cannot make a tournament. Alternates, like members, must be a Christian in good standing and a regularly attending church member. If not a church member, he or she may use an alternate that they are wanting to spend time with (witnessing to.)
13. Treat others like you would want to be treated. Do not cut-off another fisherman. If a club member asks you to give him room, please comply. A 50-yard zone should be observed.

17. Payout for Tournaments will be for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place when 30 or less boats participate. A field of more than 31 boats will pay down to 4th place.
18. Our trail is not for the ones only fishing certain lakes. This is a tournament trail to raise money for missions and to fellowship with others. If you do not fish at least three (3) tournaments, the following year you are not eligible to fish our club. The tournament director will be the one who will keep up with the tournaments fished. If there is a situation, illness or family emergency not letting the team continue fishing, please let the tournament president know and he will determine if the team can continue to fish the trail. Our trail welcomes new members, if they are invited by another member and can fish 3 or more tournaments. They are welcome to contact the president before fishing.
CLASSIC Additional Rules:
19. Teams must fish at least five (5) tournaments to qualify for the Classic.
20. The season year partner you pick is eligible for the classic. It doesn’t matter the number of tournaments he or she fishes. If you do not have a regular partner through the year, you can get another team member for the classic as long as they have fished five (5) tournaments and get it approved by the tournament director in advance.
21. Classic is a 100% pay-back tournament, and will be the 2nd weekend in March following the calendar year tournament season. Classic Entry Fee for big fish is $10. Additionally, if a team did not fish all regular season tournaments, $10 for every tournament the team did not fish must be paid upon entering as well.
KIDS Tournament Rules:
22. Our trail is a kid-friendly tournament. We have a tournament in a tournament for kids. If a team has two (2) members and has one (1) kid under the age of sixteen (16), for a total of 3 in a boat, the team will get a free entry fee just for the child. The child will have a (1) fish limit only. The fish must be tagged separately from the other team’s fish limit. The kids tournament only pays one (1) place. The child’s fish can NOT count as big fish for the team.
23. If a team has two (2) total members and one (1) is under the age of sixteen (16), they will be eligible for a BONUS for bringing-a-kid fishing. The BONUS will come out of the Fishers of Men Bass Club fee, NOT the tournament pot. The club will pay $50.00 for 3 boats; the pot would increase to $100.00 for 5 or more boats that are eligible for bringing-a-kid fishing pot. The team that has the most weight of those qualifying for bringing-a-kid fishing will win the BONUS.
